THE CHRISTMAS PROGRAMME

For students

Required space: School classroom

Duration: 1 hour and 15 mins

Ages: 4 - 8 years old

The programme’s aim is to denote the value of selfless service and of love through everyday simple acts of kindness such as  the offer of something one needs or a kind word or a nice thought or wish for someone we know. 

The programme consists of 3 stages:

Α) “The Leprechaun Santa”   (interactive storytelling)
Santa and the Christmas Elf will use puppets to tell children a funny, tender and one of a kind story which sings the praises of selfless service to humanity. 

Β) “We have fun playing”   (theatrical play)
Following suite from the story, the children will play, have fun and discover through Theatrical Playing the value of service and love. A rewarding experience guided by a trained actress, which allows children freely express their feelings and personalities. 

C) “Santa’s workshop”   (Arts and Crafts workshop)
Drawing inspiration from the previous 2 stages the children will have the opportunity to work in groups to create Christmas ornaments from recyclable materials.
